In August 2010 we sent a surveying team to scan a chemical plant in Germany. The job was commissioned by design office that needed to do a inventory of one part of chemical installation.
The integrated point cloud we delivered was uploaded in PDMS software and than used to create 3d model and a database of an existing structures.
Application of 3D laser scanning allowed us to obtain very large amounts of data in a short time, without any interruption to production process.
