In August 2010, the design of the terminal building was completed by Foster and Partners.

Also existing terminal building is currently under huge refurbishment project. It will be extended and the whole building claded using aluminum panels. 3deling was selected to provide detailed drawings of the ground floor and roof plan and all external facades of this facility.
All panels had to fit existing structure it is why accuracy was so important.
We adopted 3d scanning method and also used precise total station to achieve fine global accuracy. There were 185 single scan positions and about 250 survey stations established.
A final data was orientated to National Kuwait Coordinate System using gps method
