Church of St.Jack in Bytom

The main scope of this project was to calculate the surface area of the facades, roof and historic polychrome of the church.

We carried out a dense laser scanning, which was the first step to prepare 3D models of the most valuable parts of the church’s interior. These 3D models were used to determine the dimensions of the polychromes and other gliding.

In addition, we took photos with a drone, which we used further to create a dense cloud and at the end a mesh model. What’s more, the orthophotos were created as well as various types of visualisations to promote this historic building.
