For this UK based project 3Deling were supplied with RAW unregistered scan data. This was an exceptionally challenging project.
We positioned and registered over 250 individual scans into a common coordinate system. The client was at the time new to scanning and the control methods associated with this form of data capture. We were able to utilise our robust in-house processes to create a working registration for the data.
Although not large, the building was complex and irregular in construction. The campus was in 2 parts, the first a redeveloped building constructed as classroom space, the second a sports hall with a complicated roof structure.
